The theme is "birds with homemade toys". That might be a challenge for some people so we'll use a loose definition of homemade toys. If it's something that you've made or modified, or something that wasn't originally intended to be a bird toy, it'll count! Up to five entries per person.

Here she is again with an assortment of homemade toys.

Imma do mine tomorrow or Sunday.

This was meant to be a foraging game with a bunch of pumpkin and sunflower seeds in it, but Lucy was too busy playing with the paper to try and find any.

That's like searching all over town for the perfect toy and then the kid plays with the box instead of the toy. But Lucy probably would have been more interested in the seeds if she knew they were there. Maybe next time sprinkle some on the top so she can see them, and will dig around looking for more.

Oh, she did eventually run across one. She found a pumpkin seed and ate it right up. Then she went back to playing with the paper.

MAybe play this game more often so she'll eventually know to expect seeds... Might be she goes on a search first and then starts playing with the paper
