So, in order to post any pictures here, I have to be on photo bucket? I have never been on a forum before, so I may be asking A LOT of questions for awhile. :) Learning so much about more than my cockatiels here I see. :)

It doesn't have to be Photobucket, but the picture does have to be posted online somewhere. This forum doesn't have the space to save photos here, except for a small avatar picture.

BTW the "how to post on photobucket" thread is outdated. The procedure changes frequently and we haven't kept up. I should probably change it one of these years lol.

The photobucket procedure changes so often that I was thinking more along the lines of saying something like "go to photobucket, and if you have trouble figuring it out just ask here and we'll try to help you through it". It seems like I have to relearn it about twice a year myself.

That makes more sense. I totally agree with that idea.

Trying to sign up to photo bucket but the join tab (or any other) does not work. I went to their actual website and created an account, but still don't see how I can post a picture on the forum.

The picture at the beginning of this thread is a very old picture of what Photobucket used to look like. You do have to go to their actual website to join, which you've done.

Once you're logged into Photobucket, look for a button that says upload. Click on this. It will give you the choice of dragging and dropping your photos into a big white box with dotted lines around the edge, or you can click a blue button that says "Choose photos & videos". After the pictures have been uploaded they will be in your Photobucket library and will be displayed as thumbnails. Click on a thumbnail to see the bigger picture, and off to the right you will see some urls you can use for displaying the picture on the internet.
