I took a quick (50 minute) visit to The Bird Shop to get seeds, pellets, millet and Nutriberries. Of course I always play with the birds while I'm there. I played with some sunnies, a few rainbow lorikeets and a particular dusky lory who taught me what it feels like to French kiss.

Also I held a baby pearl pied cockatiel. He was so cute! He had a nub for a crest and a really ferocious play bite.

Sweet! I won't tell.

That's the fun of bird shops.

I envy you. I can't go to a bird shop because every time I did I went back home with a new add to the flock

I'm only allowed to go to any bird stores with parental supervision. I'm not allowed to go in alone. Same with pet stores. Budgies, tiels, conures...

I'm tempted by those ones the most.

I just figured out what "Redrum" is, LOL.

I don't know if it was a big chain or just a local restaurant, but there was a hamburger place called 'Murder Burger'. A lot of people began to complain so they changed it to 'Redrum Burger' which is murder backwards. That seemed suitable to them.

"Redrum" is from "The Shining". Another hokey movie.

That scene is one of my favourites, just terrifying without being gory or violent. And the shining is also in my list of best movies ever made... Brrrrrrrr!
