No blood, but a few of them looked a bit dishevelled for a few days... You know, crest messed up, back feathers lifted up etc. I can tell you, they spent two days preening and now they all look OK. Obviously I couldn't leave them alone so I spent quite a lot of time ambushing them and giving them a "hair" treatment myself lol No more messy crests!
I agree Tielfan, the speed they build up in just a few metres is amazing, I am aware of how lucky I was that nothing horrible happened. I have taken steps to ensure that this will never happen again. I thought working nights wouldn't affect them, it obviously does so no more of it. I will try to find a job that allows me to take better care of them when they are out of the cages.
