Now that Emma is out of the cage, instead of sitting on eggs, our relationship has become more interesting.
As I have said in the past, she doesn't want anything to do with hands and, especially, fingers. I've been giving her sunflower seeds. She flies to my forearm, and I hold out a seed, luring her closer and closer to my hand and fingers. It's so funny to watch her get almost to my first knuckle and lean SO far forward to get the seed instead of getting closer to my nasty, nasty finger.

That's what I did with Jail Bird to try and accept my hand more. She would nibble the millet but if I moved it back so she has to get on my hand she would streeeeetchhhh herself rather than come closer. She was a silly girl.

It can take a while, but most birds will eventually get tired of going to that much trouble and will start moving closer to the evil hand lol.
