My masked lovebird and my hen budgie got along great together, but my budgie was very high spirited and my lovebird was very bold, so their personalities clicked. Lovebirds are still aggressive, so I would watch it.

Did you try calling the parrotlet breeder?

The only advice I can give you, is to keep a close eye on them for out of cage time. Even if they do end up getting along, lovebird beaks are pretty big, which will give them the advantage in a fight.

Like everyone else said - lovebirds are aggressive so you have to be careful. They've been known to kill cockatiels. Individual birds may have different personalities of course, but caution is always a good idea.

He gets on great with the tiels he has a cracked beak its actually broken you can see his nose and everything im wondering if it can be repaired by a vet with acrylic or something.Heres the baby I chose him because I liked his colour and his personality and if I didnt take him he would probably be passed around a lot because of his beak.

I don't see a crack but the beak does look abnormal, although it's kind of a funny angle which might skew my perception. A skilled person with a dremel could probably reshape it into something more appropriate, and with a little luck it might stay in the right shape without any more work on it.

Beaks grow continuously just like fingernails. When they're in the right shape then ordinary living tends to keep them ground down and everything is fine. But when the beak doesn't fit together properly this normal grinding can't be done right so the beak grows out abnormally.

Can you get a better picture? I'm having trouble telling where the crack really is.

The crack is on the other side of his beak.
