anybody ever had any similar experience with wildlife that got too close to your birds, and what did you do about it? I am thinking, when people have birds in outdoor aviaries, and they are not watching the aviary 24/7... anything possible, right? I know wildlife won't get inside the aviary, but can get real close scaring the birds.

one of my female babies from the first clutch wants to mate. I guess she is not a baby anymore. Older clutch will be a year old in the mid October

On Thursday my older babies are turning 1 year old! (well, most of them, 3 out of 4 if speaking exactly, with the fourth following them in 2 days) Not much is going on. One of the younger baby girls is flirting with Trillie, the father. I don't see much response from him. One of the older baby boys is following his mom Cuddles everywhere. Stella, the pearl, isn't asking for sex anymore.

Finally Tater Tot figured out how to mate with Stella (his sister) and now they mating. I saw it happening a few times... Any advice? I am increasing nights but I guess it doesn't help much. I don't know what to expect when/if she decides to lay eggs. More than a year ago her mom found a nesty spot on the book case and laid eggs there, protecting them and being aggressive. I wonder what this pair is going to do.
