This is a photo I took from my window just before a terrible storm...
Poor cockatoo...

Well i think the bird should be all right if temperatures are not very low and if the food supply is enough. It's been raining where I live for 3 days now, and the temperatures are around 0C (a little lower or higher). The poor flock of sparrows is ... surprisingly alive. What I try to do - I try to feed them. This way they have forces to withstand the weather. I will try to organize a little shelter under my roof for them, but I am not sure if they would accept to spend a night there.

I'm not an expert on the bigger cockatoos, but I think his posture looks kind of happy. Maybe he's looking forward to having a nice bath. He's obviously near a house and could probably find a more sheltered spot pretty easily if he wanted to.
Sometimes during big storms here I'll have a small flock of doves sitting on my back porch where they're nice and dry.

Sorry for the delay... There has been a lot going on here.
Yes, they do like showers. My tiel hates being sprayed for example, but I can see he always loves his shower. I wonder if it is instinct. In Queensland (where cockatiels actually come from) there are rain periods/wet seasons (not really storms though) and cockatiels have to choice but to get wet as they cannot find a shelter all the time...
