I am still trying to get rid of the mouses and Loki hasn't had any night frights since her last one and I have a christmas decoration in the window so that lets light in for the night. The problem is the mouses are babies and I just watched Mango staring at the floor so I looked down and saw a mouse run right over to the trap and lick all the peanut butter up and run back to wherever it goes.It was tiny if I had something I would have thrown it at the trap so it would get caught. And please please dont tell me Mango is starting to mimic the mouses squeaks lol. Also this morning Mango made a Beautiful noise im guessing its a natural call it was my first time hearing it and it sounded lovely.Guess we will have to wait until the mouses get fat.I guess a humane trap would work better because even babies would get caught and then can be released because they dont really deserve to die they only come into our houses looking for food and shelter.

Have you tried sticky paper? They would run over it and get stuck pretty easily. Only problem is that trying to get them off is a difficult process to do without hurting them, so if you're planning on releasing them outside, that might not be the best thing.

But waiting until they're bigger might not be a good idea. Mice populate like... well, mice, and they multiply very very quickly. I would imagine the babies would plan on breeding as soon as they're sexually mature, which doesn't take that long at all.

My mam dosent care about hurting them as long as they are gone every time we get them they do get killed and releasing them would mean driving out somewhere far from the house to release them and then they would probably just find another house.

In that case, go ahead and use sticky paper, if you want. Sometimes, you can find some that are peanut-butter scented.

They're also known as "glue boards". Here's an example: http://www.domyownpestcontrol.com/catch ... b_id=14782

what is the weather like outside?
Of course, if you decide to re-home them, only use humane trap (no sticky stuff!!!)

Well..... if they bother you... and they do, because they are IN the house, I would trap them with live trap and took them elsewhere... I think if the babies are not infants, they should adapt pretty well. I recommend to find a place where to take them in advance.
It would also help to read about mice... how long mom feeds them if any, how soon they can make own babies... Allow them a little bit of time maybe... but not too long.
I would also rehome them during good weather days (don't know if you have any). I mean if the weather is inclement, wait a bit for the better weather (if it;'s not a whole winter LOL)

OK, if people discuss killing them, do me a favor - kill them instantly, not slowly, like the sticky paper would do (they gonna CRY for hours!!!) Don't use poison, there are traps that cut their heads off at once...
But I hope you decide to give them a chance to survive. Are there any wildlife parks in the area?

I have one of this and it worked rather well for me. Also, when it's shut, I always would check it while in the house into a tall trash empty bucket. I mean if there is a mouse, I would release it in the house into a tall empty bucket, and then drive away. Because sometimes it's shut and nobody is in there.

I think chipper means to find a place to release them in the wild. Preferrably a place where they can't get into houses.

Because mice do find homes in the wild, other than in human homes.
