I hope so too. When we were FaceTiming, he would stick out his tongue and all my birds would go and bite it. I had o explain to him that it was very harmful to the birds if he did that. But I don't know if he kept on doing it, or if he fed them something bad. I only told him to feed them pellets I gave him, and occasionally millet. But he must've gone wild, and fed them something else, because I don't think that pellet-eating gets you fat.

Pip does seem very lightweight. The normal weight range for cockatiels starts at around 70-75g and goes up from there. You might want to feel everyone's keel bone to see how he compares to the others. Here's an article on B's forum telling you how to do that: http://feathertalk.proboards.com/thread ... s-keelbone

That's a HUGE weight increase, and if it's real then she's probably way too fat for her own good. Better weigh her again to make sure you didn't make a mistake, and feel the keel too.

"They probably look huge to you because you've been looking at a budgie for several days,"
I think that could be it. I remember when I was ten, I was away at sleep away camp for a month. When I got home, my parents looked SO old. I was worried about them. Some time later, I realized that it was because I had been around very young people exclusively for a month (even the counselors were no older than college age).

You're right, I didn't see it! I'm glad it was just a joke, because a weight increase like that would make her look like a ball with a bird head stuck on one end.

I can't tell if Pip is underweight, or just around perfect. But I'm afraid Coco might be overweight. He used to be 88g! And I was away for like 2 weeks. I don't think that's healthy. He's also not moving much. I've noticed him extremely slow. Like, for EVERYTHING. In the other hand, Kiwi seems to be just about right. And if someone can tell me, what's the normal weight for a budgegariar?
