Somebody I know found this baby in her yard. She can't locate the nest. Does it look like fledgling or not yet? some yellow feather start growing in the back . Thanks!

I don't know the species of the bird. I could be wrong, but to me the feathers don't look quite developed enough to be a fledgling. It would be best to look for a wildlife rehabilitator in your area and ask them about it.

Tielfan, thank you. She is not in my area and she is not posting since the initial posting. I suggested to make a nest out of a basket of a natural color and install it on the tree.
