I have recently seen a real large owl! I was walking at the park and saw people taking pictures, there was an owl sitting there. It was kind of weird to see an owl in a daylight. I hope she was OK and not sick or anything.

Owls don't always come out at night. They can be diurnal, crepuscular or nocturnal. Some owls you can tell from the colour of their eyes. In the same order yellow, orange and black! It's not always the rule but it does apply to quite a few of them. If the bird was sat on the ground not moving perhaps that would be different but if s/he was just hanging out in a tree I wouldn't be concerned :D

Potoos are funny. So are cassowaries. That's why we love them.
