Managed to get a pic online. I hope. Specky was our much loved previous bird to Snowy. He was the first bird we got to talk. He loved nothing better than visiting us and playing. He was however, a bit of a hair puller, which could catch you unawares. He would dance when you said 'Dance Specky' and bob up and down. Snowy cant come out and play, but he has a strong word count, can make the phone message sound and wolf whistle. He has around 10 words he says a lot and another 10 less frequently. He has a quiet voice, sometimes its hard to hear what he is saying. He LOVES the TV, if you turn off the sound, he stops chattering. Snowy has always had a mirror. I had heard if you want the bird to talk, you take out the mirror. He is around two years old now. They both have/had grey wings. Specky had a dark tail and Snowys is white.

He's gorgeous! It looks like he's violet. I love the violet-mutation budgies.

He is. He also likes to do 'the bat'. He hangs upside down on his perch to get our attention. It used to be the signal that he wanted out. Its SO CUTE, but I have to say no :budgieblue:

It's really beneficial for birds to get out of the cage, for both their physical health and mental health. I hope that you can come up with a way to let him out safely!
