I think it's better this way! We won't be sure what the babies will be until they are born, that will be such a nice surprise whatever they happen to be!
I was expecting all greys and was floored seeing the pearlies... Much much better than being sure of what they're gonna be :D

Marshmallow is sitting on them almost the whole day so far, she only came out to eat but then Bio saw me so he came out of the nest and Marshmallow went back in :(

Bio is taking advantage if her lol. What are the normal incabating sessions? Is it hen at night and cock at day? Or the opposite?

It's usually the cock in the day and the hen at night. In the wild, this gives the hen time to go foraging to restore her physical resources after egg laying. But some couples don't like this schedule so they come up with a different plan.

Is Bio not doing his share, and is it because he's slacking off or because Marshmallow won't let him? You might be able to get him to do more by taking her out of the cage sometimes, but you'd have to watch to make sure he actually sits on the eggs when she's not around.

Everyday is a new learning experience for Bio! He now sits on the eggs but Marshmallow sits more. Marshmallow is always on the eggs so there isn't really a need for Bio to incubate. But he still sits on them much more than before and he is on them when Marshmallow is out eating and taking care of her needs

It's good for Bio to sit on the eggs because we want his instincts to be running at full speed when it's time to feed the babies. If there are more than three chicks it would be hard for Marshmallow to feed them all by herself, so we definitely want dad to do his share of the work.

He would sit on the eggs...but Marshmallow is always on the eggs. Bio incubates when Marshmallow is out of the nest. Bio sometimes tries to steal the eggs from Marshmallow so that she could leave

You might be able to get him to do more by taking her out of the cage sometimes, but you'd have to watch to make sure he actually sits on the eggs when she's not around.

Bio would just scream to be let out as well.
