Quote: Bio would just scream to be let out as well. Not necessarily! He has eggs to take care of now, and that's a huge draw for a cockatiel. You could try it once to see what happens.

Thank you Jan! Surprisingly, even though TC is a big forum and LFB isn't, I have got SO much more replies here than there! I appreciate that very much

I tried it once and he just climbed to the top of the cage to be let out.

Quote: I tried it once and he just climbed to the top of the cage to be let out. He needs to put his Daddy hat on more tightly lol. He's more into hanging out with Marshmallow than he is into taking care of the eggs. Maybe he'll improve with experience. How old is he? If he's young, that could be a factor.

Bio is over 2 years old. I gave it another try, I took Marshmallow out and he again went on top of the cage but I didn't give in yet and surprisingly, he took care of the eggs. I think I am starting to see little veins in egg#1.

Egg#1 has a heartbeat! It was my first time ever seeing one and it was the COOLEST thing in the world!!
The air cell of the eggs are small, does that mean I am giving them too much humid?

Thank you!
Do you think giving the parents a bath right before they go in the nest once a week is a good schedual for humid levels? Or is it too little?
