Bio would just scream to be let out as well.

Not necessarily! He has eggs to take care of now, and that's a huge draw for a cockatiel. You could try it once to see what happens.

Thank you Jan!

Surprisingly, even though TC is a big forum and LFB isn't, I have got SO much more replies here than there!
I appreciate that very much :)

I tried it once and he just climbed to the top of the cage to be let out.

He needs to put his Daddy hat on more tightly lol. He's more into hanging out with Marshmallow than he is into taking care of the eggs. Maybe he'll improve with experience. How old is he? If he's young, that could be a factor.

Bio is over 2 years old. I gave it another try, I took Marshmallow out and he again went on top of the cage but I didn't give in yet and surprisingly, he took care of the eggs. :D

I think I am starting to see little veins in egg#1.

Egg#1 has a heartbeat! It was my first time ever seeing one and it was the COOLEST thing in the world!!

The air cell of the eggs are small, does that mean I am giving them too much humid?

The air cells are supposed to be small in the beginning. The egg will gradually lose moisture as it develops so the air cell will be bigger later on, and depending on the humidity level it could end up being too big, too small, or just right. You've already had a successful clutch so it looks like the humidity level was OK, at least at that time.

Thank you!

Do you think giving the parents a bath right before they go in the nest once a week is a good schedual for humid levels? Or is it too little?

You're in Florida so you probably have a pretty significant humidity level already. It might vary depending on exactly where you are, but the Weather Channel says the current humidity in Ft Lauderdale is 80%. I live in the Sonoran Desert where the humidity is frequently in the 5-10% range, and the eggs hatch just fine. I don't know how they do it though - Shodu takes a bath and then stays out of the nest until she's completely dry. Drives me crazy lol. Sometimes I'll put a humidifier in the room at hatch time to crank the humidity up to 25-30% (50% is considered ideal). But sometimes I don't add humidity and the babies still hatch with no problems. Maybe Shodu is practicing witchcraft or something.
