Shodu takes a bath and then stays out of the nest until she's completely dry. Drives me crazy lol.

I know exactly how you feel

The humidity here is 74% I guess I am just being paranoid.

The weather is pretty nice at this time of year, but it's hot in the summer with typical highs of 100 to 110. It's very dry most of the time, but there's a small monsoon in July-August that drops about six inches of rain on average and frequently cranks the humidity up to a whopping 30%, which makes us all complain that we're dying from the terrible humidity. In the winter, we complain that we're freezing to death on days when the high is less than 60. We can take the heat but not much of anything else lol.

I hate the cold, it makes my fingers feel SO numb! I love rain, I get exited when there are dark storm clouds coming ahead. I also like the sun, but not too much like the desert.

Do your lips crack when it's dry outside? My lips are very sensitive to dryness so I can't imagine how it is there. I would probably need to apply chapstick every 5 minutes. Haha

The lips are always dry, and during the dryer times of year you need to guard against nosebleeds. Running a humidifier at night helps with that.

I'm out in shorts at 60. Bliss. It was 70 here and I felt like I was having a heat stroke. (Although I am tiny, so I generate a ton of heat). We need rain.

At the University of Arizona, it's easy to tell the difference between the students from northern states and the natives. The out of state students are sunbathing on the roof while everyone else is walking around in a jacket.

Your humidity is basically the inverse of ours. I have a little device that tells the temperature and humidity in the bird room. The lowest humidity reading it can give is 16%, and it will say 16% even if the actual humidity is lower than that. It says 16% most of the time. It actually says 20% right now, which happens sometimes on winter mornings.
