The video won't work for me. I am hatching some tiels now. I have 4 eggs. Actually, the hatch dates are march 10, 12, 14, 16. I am excited! :cheery:

By the way, how will i be able to tell the sex of my little ones? And what age do they have to be..........i know parakeets have to be two weeks.

Sexing cockatiels can be tricky, there aren't any signs that are as strong an indicator as the cere color of budgies. Sometimes it's possible to determine sex based on the mutation if your parent birds have the right combination of genes.

Buster and Shodu have the right combination; girls are 99% certain to be either lutino or cinnamon, and it's 99% certain that a grey chick is a boy. Once in a while it's possible to get a grey girl but the odds are low. Pip and Ladybug don't have the right combination - I know that any cinnamon chicks are girls but I can't tell what sex a grey chick is.
