Wow, I didn't know that budgies could have blue eyes. It's probably related to the mutations they have but I don't know what the mechanics of it would be. You learn something every day.

Speck has his blue eyes, they look grey, but I can assure you, that's budgie blue. Just like tiel brown. Poppy's eyes now have a huge black section and just a tint of blue, like a crescent moon.

I think you mean that the outer ring (iris) is blue - is that right? I thought budgies traditionally had a white iris and until today I didn't know that other colors were available. Shows how much I know about budgies lol.
