They're hatching out fast! My pairs like to start sitting as soon as the first egg is laid so it's a more drawn-out process. But I like it better when they hatch out close together like this. With Buster and Shodu's first clutch the first 4 babies hatched in a 48-hour period, but they changed their incubation habits for the next clutch.

They are so ugly/pretty!!! It's true, they look like little disheveled aliens That Day One pic with the single chick in your hands is quite beautiful, you should frame it!

@barbra That was actually my sister lol
She wanted to hold them so I told her that she could hold them while I make a photo shoot. She was a happy camper

Cute! If the parent will eat whole-grain pasta, that will be more nutritious than ordinary pasta.
