I am sure. There are pin feathers appearing everywhere except right behind the crest.

What mutation is the bird? Bald spots are very common for lutinos. How old is your baby? Mine are 17 days old and still didn't grow those feathers yet.

I would just wait and see. My babies also have a bald spot, but there are feathers starting to grow.
If it stays like that for a couple if days without a single feather starting to grow in, I think it's safe to say that it was herited from daddy.

What mutation is the mother? If she isn't a normal grey than this bird is a female.

I'm pretty sure she is common grey split to pied........ can you still tell the sex?
