There's a game I play with Silver: He's on top of the cage; I come close and start shaking my head while saying "do do do do do;" with each "do," I bring my nose a little closer to him. Finally, I touch his beak with my nose.
He has gradually learned not to back away and to, maybe, like it a little. I am hoping it will turn into head scritches.
Meanwhile, Emma is also on top of the cage. Silver went off to play with something. Emma came over to the edge of the cage where my head was. I started shaking my head and doing the "do do do do do." I didn't try to touch her with my nose, but she seemed interested. She kind of cocked her head. Silver then realized what was going on. He came over and inserted himself between me and Emma.

It's funny how jealous birds are. Henry doesn't like head scritches but gets jealous if I scritch anyone else.

Jealous little man!
I play wrestling games and whistle songs with Jaid. Beaker doesn't really like to play games with me, but if I give him some mirror time or let him preen my hair then he's a happy bird.
