This is a humble suggestion.

I am really interested in knowing about all the birds on this forum. But, I often can't remember the species of a bird that is being talked about in a message. This is especially true if there is no signature with the pictures of the birds and their names. My inability to remember these details doesn't reflect lack of interest.

So, it would be really nice, when writing the forum post to identify the species of the bird the first time his/her name is used in the message. You could even include the sex, if it's not obvious.
