Hellow and happy holidays to all. I took the 4 babies to the pet shop where I took the first clutch. didn't have luck selling them myself. They were beautiful babies and will make wonderful pets if given a light wing clip (which the pet sop does). It was sad to see them go, I had bcome so attached and I try not to worry about their new home.

I just have Bitsy, Roscoe and Snowflake which has made the house much quietier. Roscoe has gotten real hormonal. It took me a while to realize that the outside Xmas lights were giving him a false sence of daylight. I have started coverhing cage again and he is finally starting to behave better. Snowflake is the loner. She does come to me and ask for scritches but does not like to be cuddled. They (all 3) have become easy to get in their cage at night and will sometimes put themselves to bed.

As for me, I have had the best Xmas since the deaths and am starting to feel much better. We got aout all of my Xmas stuff this year which includes a Xmas village, 7 ceramic trees, a live tree and 25+ nativity sets. We had my deceased sons boys and his ex on Christmas day which is the first holiday we have had with him since Bruce died. We had the rest of the family plus some extended family on Sunday so I have down a lot of cooking. Cadie, Cole and Hunter have been with us since Christmas day and the boys go home today and Cadie goes to her mother's tomorrow. Then it will be REAL QUIET her.

Nice to hear from you, and I'm glad everything is going so well for you. You've had some very rough times but it sounds like life is getting back to normal. Do you plan to have some more tiel babies in the spring?

Yes I am planning on another clutch in the spring. I have really enjoyed the process. Birth is amazing even from an egg. Watching the parents care for their chicks is so rewarding. These little guys always are teaching me something.

I don't come here as often as some and I didn't know about your recent loss. I am sorry to hear of it. My husband and I have had big adjustments too. We have three very difficult adult children and they are a constant source of stress for us. Over a year ago they decided that because they were angry at us it would be fair for them to take away our grandchildren. Now our holidays are very different too.
I wish you the best. Maybe 2015 will be a happier New Year.
