Oh my. They are beautiful. I love their colorings. These were taken with your new camera right? I forgot, what kind is it?

It's a Canon T3i. I got it for Christmas. It was originally $1,000, but daddy got it on QVC for $499 with extra equipment, so it was a really decent deal. I am still trying to figure it out, so my pictures are somewhat blurred, but it adds a nice dramatic effect in some of them. It is definitely not as user friendly as my old digital Fujifilm. I am still trying to figure out how to use it.

Nice a nice gift and a good deal! It's gonna take some time until you get used to it. I remember my photos came out blurry at first but now I fully understand how to use it. My favorite mode is landscape. It brightens the pictures and really looks awesome for the photos. Do you use autofocus or manual?

Auto focus. It's fantastic! Manual if I am setting up the scene myself, but I mostly leave it on auto because my birds move fast.

I like it so far. I need to figure out how to take pictures of them flying soon, because those would be cool shots.

Flying photos are hard. You need a fast shutter speed and fast reflexes. Auto focus is not your friend for this because the flight is over before the camera gets done fooling around with the focus.
