I'm curious to see how the pretty Mackenzie look-alike girl is doing? :)

Who is MacKenzie?
Winter seems fine. I have not gotten around to putting the second level on the budgie cage. And, I have not yet figured our how I am going to give them out of cage time.
However, I a glad you asked, as this reminds me that I need to give attention to this. Maybe while Emma is nesting will be a good time. But, then, there's the cats to consider :-(.

She was my dark eyed clear budgie and Beck's abusive bondage mate. Image

As you can see, this was when I thought she was a young cock by her cere. Turns out she was a hen, so she went from Mack to Mackenzie.

I had to rehome her because she was pure evil. She would seek me out and take chunks out of my hands and face. And then one day she just tackled Beck down to the floor and grabbed him by the neck, threw him down and really hurt him. I had to rehome her.

Once I found out she was a hen, she got insanely aggressive and no amount of any form of hormone control could bring her down, though I tried. I had her on 4 months of hormone control nothing worked.

Oh, what a shame! To look at her, who would think she would be evil.

She did have an innocent little face. In fact, she was a pity buy. I found her in a dirty pet store, in a flight cage, on the lowest perch. The other budgies bullied her. I felt bad for her.

Very disappointing. At the same time, not that unusual.

"she was a pity buy. I found her in a dirty pet store, in a flight cage, on the lowest perch. The other budgies bullied her. I felt bad for her."

They that kids who bully other kids are likely to have a family member that is bullying them. And, people who have parents that beat them or abuse them are more likely to become that kind of parent themselves.
