Beaker has a terrible habit. He flies up to the crown molding on the wall and holds on and chews it. Everybody hates that. I need to find something he hates to put there so he doesn't fly up there anymore. He's done it for 3 years, everyday, at least 10-15 times a day. I've tried double sided tape, but he doesn't care. It's even pulled out a belly feather once or twice and it doesn't bother him like I thought it would, so I took that down. I need something new that birds can't stand. Something to scare the poop out of him or give him a negative experience so he stops. My dad hates that so much. Either I find something or I have to get his wings clipped. :(

Can you hang something in front of it, sort of like a curtain, so he can't land there any more? Or build sort of a cage-type box around it with hardware cloth so he can't reach it?

No, that won't work. Is there anything I can run along it? Maybe like a texture or something they are instinctively afraid of? Laser pointers only work about 50% of the time, but with the amount of times he flies up there in a day, that's still not good enough.

I don't know of something that would scare him, but maybe you could come up with some sort of benign homemade version of the bird spikes that they use on public buildings.

Believe it or not...I have actually trained Peach to the word "no". When she lands on things I don't want her to, I clap my hands and say a firm, kind of loud, "no" and she'll stop most of the time. For instance, if she is headed for something on a table I don't want her to chew (think plant) I do it and it works. I don't keep any poisonous plants but I still don't want her to chew any. You could give him a water squirt while trying the "no". Most of the time now I don't need to clap or raise my voice.

Beaker knows clapping and no. He doesn't listen to them when he is perched up there. That is the only time he is disobedient. Squirting water won't work either; it will ruin the wood with the amount of times he flies up there.
