Why can't I post in the video section?

I tried posting a thread in the video section, and the "forbidden" message came up. It was a white screen that said:

computer wrote:

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /forum/posting.php on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I've tried this at least 3 times, and got the same exact message. Did I do something that made me "forbidden" to post on certain sections of the forum?

No, you didn't. Its just a glitch. Try refreshing the page and try again.

Try rewording the message. There's an odd quirk that makes the server object to innocent words sometimes.

The only word I could possibly think it could object to is the word "Indian", in "Indian Ringneck Parakeet". Needless to say, I changed it to it's acronym (IRN), and same result. I tried refreshing multiple times, and nothing happens.

oh. i completely forgot about that one issue. Can you call the phpbb support and see if there is anything that can be done? Sometimes the problem comes from their end.

It's my understanding that it's not phpbb, it's the actual server. I get to choose which words I want phpbb to screen out, but the server has its own strange ideas.

Well, not only will it not let me submit the thread, but it won't even go through with the preview button to see a preview of the post. The server REALLY doesn't want me making a thread in the video section.

I've actually moderated on a different forum website powered by phBB, with the same layout (didn't realize it was phBB until now, lol). Needless to say, it can be annoying to work with. I've never run into this problem before.

I've reworded it a bunch of different ways, and it still won't let me post. What word does it not like? "smile"? "want"? "you"? .......... "Bird"? Or maybe it doesn't like the youtube link.

What's even weirder is that I posted it to B's "testing" thread, and it worked fine.

It's ok. They can still fix it. You will need to call them. They also have a support forum where you can post the issue and they will tell you how to fix it.

I'm going to ask them and see if there is any solution.
