I will try that. Although it is extremely hard to argue with my parents and win. I've tried everything, but it seems to be impossible to convince them. But i guess that if i have proof, I'll be able to possibly have a chance at convincing them

I told my dad that a lot of people keep birds even in eir rooms, but he wont listen. He just gets stubborn with what my mom tells him and won't listen to me.

Does everybody keep their birds in their rooms?

is what you show inside or outside?

I've got an idea. Why won't Carolyn writes a letter to Erik's parents and explains her concerns, etc? She can say how difficult it is to raise birds, and that it's not birds fault that it's too hot and dangerous outside/ Their son wants to be a responsible owner so why won't they help him? something like this... It might work and it certainly won't make things worse. Sometimes grownups will listen to another adult

Oh yes please! Would you Carolyn? Please? Can you state that you're a parent? And for all the years youve had birds, you havent had any problems? Oww! It would make things much easier!! If it came from another mom, i guess they'd think about it. Im very sad that Coco looks the same, he hasn't gotten better. I hope it'll just go away like anything else. Please Carolyn, would you help me?

I just read your bird is sick. Please DEMAND that your parents allow to bring them in because this is an emergency!

My bird is in my room and my room is perfectly clean right now. I'm a teen male as well.

I am still puzzled about pictures you posted with temperature and humidity... Under 30C, even with 70% humidity, should not be too hot! I think CrazyConure had his birds in Florida in higher temperatures and probably higher humidity... I know that it also matters how used birds to this conditions are...and especially if the bird doesn't drink water as you suspected. But in general, I think they sould be perfectly fine.

I took Rio outside in his flight suit 3 weeks ago and it was too hot for him. He panted and was biting me HARD. That was how I knew he was frustrated and wanted to go back home.
