Right now the internet says that 750 pesos is $44. If it was the same back then, Pip actually cost more than Coco did!

If Coco turns out to be a girl and Pip isn't able to mate, one of Teela and Azazel's sons would be a wonderful mate for her. The two boys that I have right now are definitely split to cinnamon, lutino and pied. There's a 50% chance that they're split to pearl and a 67% chance that they're split to whiteface. Coco is grey pied split to whiteface. All the sons would be grey (some of them pied) and almost all the daughters would be either cinnamon or lutino (some of them pied). If dad is split to pearl then some of the daughters would be pearl in addition to everything else, and if he's split to whiteface then some of the babies would be whiteface in addition to everything else. That's a really nice variety of mutations.

Indeed, it is a cheap price for a nice looking bird. :) It's a shame about his feet, though. I wonder if there's a way to correct them, though? Possibly a splint for each toe? (could only apply to broken toes, though)

My mom has a friend who used to be a vet though. We could drive to his workplace (he owns a place on my side of town called the "box nursery" full of cacti and other succulent-type plants), so I could ask him. I know he has at least some experience with birds, since he helped my mom with some of her baby birds.

I say that Pip was pretty cheap because in other places they sell them at 2000!!

I REALLY want to get some babies, and I don't think my parents would really mind, they dont really care much about that.

Are Teela and Azazel's babies still available???

Yes, I still have both of their sons. But you'll need to get your parents to agree to let you raise birds inside the house. The parent birds need to feel safe and secure in order to breed successfully, and that won't happen if they're outdoors with predators hanging around.

I thought they were inside, though? Did Erik's mother make him put them back outside?

It's really complicated. (Not trying to sound like a "cliché BTW)

As far as I know they're still inside. But it might be pushing the limits to actually raise babies indoors, so it's best to get permission before making plans.
