The woman on the bus does not sound like a nice person. She can't help it if she's bird-phobic but she didn't have to be so hateful about it. But your comments indicate that you're equally hateful if not more so, so there's not really anybody to root for in that story. The woman at least has the excuse that she was probably under a lot of emotional pressure at the moment, and she didn't get on the bus so you were basically the winner in the encounter. There's nothing to be gained from hating this woman and talking about your hatred for her long after the incident is over, and doing it anyway doesn't give people a good impression of you. She did get on the bus thats when she start talking saying thats discraceful letting birds on buses and saying ill kill them if they come near me so I do have a reason not to like her and I dont hate her lol hate is a strong word.On TC theres two specific people who try to start trouble with me thats why I hardly go on that forum anymore and this forum is way better anyways nice people here who try to help as best as they can.The parrot forum which the parrot wizards owns I dont like that much either people there are hardly online but still cause a little bit of trouble and I never had any problems on this forum.

I honestly don't like them either. I posted there explaining Dudley's situation, and got a bit of a passive aggressive vibe (especially from one specific member who shall not be mentioned). I felt judged and criticized, for not knowing what to do. There was one person who was really nice, though it would've been better if everyone was like that. So eventually, I just left. I don't really follow the parrot wizard's methods, anyways. I think Micheal (the parrot wizard) is a good trainer, but he doesn't focus very much on aggression issues. Yeah he has a few tutorials, but they're not enough. Birdtricks actually does talk more about it, and I've found their methods much more reliable, just from the free tutorial and explanation videos on their youtube channel, as well as the tips on their Facebook page. I find them a little more laid back and approachable as well, and have chatted with the one running the facebook page, a few times.

tielfan wrote: I got banned from the Parrot Forum a couple of years ago for trying to help and educate people lol. They told me to quit posting so many informational links, particularly in a thread where a guy was trying to save a baby conure that was at risk of dying. I provided a rational discussion, they said if I didn't stop they would ban me, and I said go ahead, it'll give me a great story to tell, and a forum that frowns on people trying to save the lives of birds isn't good enough for me anyway. The rest is history. The group looks different now so I wonder if they've changed ownership.
The reason they didn't want people posting informational links is that they're terrified of any kind of competition, and some links have their own forum in addition to helpful articles. I can tell you from experience that posting links does NOT make people leave one forum and join another. As long as somebody gives them the answer on their current forum they don't have any reason to go somewhere else. Thats ridiculous I hope whoever owned that conure looked at your helpful information.
