Rio's beak is damaged already and might break more easily than a normal beak. It's definitely a good idea to keep him away from Tiko. The large parrots have been known to completely rip off another bird's upper beak (usually a smaller bird but sometimes a member of the same species). Cockatoos are pretty bad about this but I don't think I've ever heard of a grey doing it. Still, it's best not to take chances. If too much of the beak gets torn off it will never grow back.
What do u mean never grow back Rio's beak as it is now will never grow back.I do keep him away from Tiko but sometimes Rio flies on her cage and if I try take him off he would run around sometimes and Tiko would try bite me.
