I don't know if it's really "new" but I came across it when I was shopping online. What do you think nutrition wise?

It's a basic seed mix with some pellets and dried fruit mixed in. Birds tend to eat pellets better when they're served in a separate dish from the seeds. My guys usually don't eat dried fruit that comes in a seed mix. The Omega 3 is coming from the flaxseeds, which are pretty far down on the ingredient list. There's nothing wrong with this mix but nothing particularly special about it either.

I bought a bag of the mix you are asking about. The birds will eat it, but they don't like it as much as nutiberries. Also, I have found some bits of things in the mix that shouldn't be there. I'm talking about twigs and pieces of plastic. I will feed it to them until it runs out, but just for variety.

I really like the Volkman's parakeet mix. My budgies and my cockatiels like it and it seems to have a good variety of ingredients and not too many fatty seeds.

I also feed Nutriberries. I like to mix it up a bit, in terms of what they get, so it's interesting for them.

I have some Roudybush pellets. However, none of my birds will eat them. I really should just throw them out.

I think that's more of a conure mix than a cockatiel mix. Conures have bigger beaks even when the body is about the same size as a tiel, so they can handle bigger food. They put a picture of a cockatiel on the package but they call it a small hookbill mix not a cockatiel mix.
