You know what, checking out some things on the internet I think it was a different group with a similar name that I got banned from. But I might be able to get banned from this one too if I argue long enough. I'm not interested in having the argument though, I run into too many people already who insist that their way is the right way but can't provide any decent evidence to back it up.

I made my post which included links to a scientific paper on bird nutrition saying that seed doesn't provide enough protein and the Nutrition Data website, which provides protein quality scores for just about everything a human being might think of eating, including a lot of seeds that are also fed to birds. I also gave links to my own articles, which include expert opinions on the protein requirements for birds.

If any of them have better evidence than that then let them show it to me and I'll agree that they're right, because I don't argue with the evidence. But I'll be very surprised if they can actually come up with that kind of evidence.

I don't know, I have seen much worse than that on many forums...
Who is in charge of that forum?

I made another post to deal with the statements that protein has to be rationed and causes fatty liver disease. That kind of misinformation is likely to end up causing people to feed protein-deficient diets.

The Parrot Wizard owns that forum.

Yeah, but Micheal doesn't really do much other than update his blog and occasionally post in the trick training section. I think Wolf and Pajarita are technically in charge.

Wolf and I are on fairly good terms. I told him of a spam bot I found, and referred him to a website that would make it easier to delete them. He told me that was his original duty as a mod, but people demanded he do more (like trying to go through a list of members making sure they're actual people isn't tedious enough... I can't imagine how challenging that might be without a database to search up IPs and emails to see if they're spam).

Paj and I... Are kind of at a neutral level, and I intend to keep it that way. She did provide useful advice when I lost and found Lucy, and even had some useful advice for Dudley and Alex, but sometimes I have trouble with her tone. I know she means well, but her direct way of saying things can sometimes be intimidating. And like I explained before, the way she carries on debates and arguments sometimes can get annoying (though her debates with seagoatdeb are pretty interesting. :3).

OK well now I'm just having fun. I made one more post to point out that the gloop recipe is expected to provide more protein than seeds alone, because it combines grains and beans. "Grains plus beans equals complete protein" is Nutrition 101 for crying out loud. Grains or seeds without beans would provide less protein, so I'd have to say that somebody who badmouths seeds because they're too high in protein and recommends this recipe instead is a little confused. Every grain and bean in the recipe has more protein in it than millet does, even before you boost the effect by mixing them together.

Nutrition Data's protein quality scores:
Millet 38
Kamut 59
Wheat 43
Barley 73
Oats 95
Rice, brown 75
Rice, white 71
Corn, yellow 55-112 depending on exactly which Nutrition Data listing you look at
Hominy, canned white 44
Flaxseed 92
White beans, canned 104

Perhaps we need to look up the definitions of arguing.

1: give reasons or cite evidence in support of an idea, action, or theory, typically with the aim of persuading others to share one's view
"defense attorneys argue that the police lacked “probable cause” to arrest the driver"
2: exchange or express diverging or opposite views, typically in a heated or angry way.
"dont argue with me!"

When Paj says "I don't understand your argument", I think she's using the first definition which is used to describe a kind of debate, rather than the second which is used to describe a verbal "fight", so to say.
