Jan wrote: Learn all you can before attempting to breed.... lots of reading on the internet on this... its very time consuming , so make sure you have the time available for the birds.. good luck Ive been researching since last year and learned a lot all I need to do now is prepare and get all the materials I need and also this group is great and I know I will have help going through my first clutch. Also should I change the diet completely when breeding or just add the extra things needed? I am getting cockatiel egg food too and the Bird jungle has a seed for cockatiels it has extra calcium and stuff and it saids breeding on the bag.

Just provide a cuttle bone for calcium. You don't need anything else for breeding food wise, beause it should already be provided as their normal diet.

For your mutation question, use this cockatiel breeding pallete to find out. Just insert the mutations and splits for each parent and it should give you the possibile results. If you don't know the splits, we can help you with that. http://www.kirstenmunson.com/cockatiels/blue.html

But its good to have egg food for extra calcium right? Do males need calcium or anything when breeding? I would guess not since the Females do the work.

You can provide cooked eggs for them but try not to give them too much. Males don't need as much as calcium as hens but it's still a necessary nutrient for bone health.
Make a seperate thread and provide picture of both birds. We will need the face, back, toes, and the top of the head.
