I'm trying to change from seeds to granulated food and I saw this NutriBird brand selling for the same types of birds Original and Tropical, but they don't seem different in composition, I'm wondering if they charge more money for colorful food (tropical). Any thoughts?

NutriBird is a European brand and we don't get it in the US, so I'm not familiar with it. But apparently it's a good quality pellet. Their website is at

Many pellet manufacturers have different variations for the same types of birds, because individual birds (or the bird owner) might like one kind but not the other. The price is usually the same.

Oh, thanks. Yeah I've looked at their composition, the difference must definitly be just colour and shapes. No pet of mine is eating hearts !! eheh

I'm gonna have to ask a pet shop owner to see if he can sell me cheaply or sell me bits to bits, cause I can't afford it atm.
