as a person who lost a cockatiel, I confirm that sometimes it's not easy to find a decent photo for your posters! all our pictures of Chipper were somewhat not perfect for that purpose. some were taken after I treated him with vegetable oil when he got caught in a fly sticky ribbon and he appeared darker than he was (and those happened to be the most describing of his main features).
I hope they found their bird!

Hmm, you're right. It does seem really hard to find a lost bird picture. I guess it's because you're not prepared to actually loose him.
