To me it's one of the films you must have seen but come out with a 'meh' after...

For a long time it was the highest-grossing film of all time, and depending on which measure you look at it's still somewhere between #2 and #4. But I don't understand why, because it wasn't that good. I think that all those teenage girls sighing over Leonardo di Caprio had a lot to do with it, but they've sighed over other actors without having this much of an impact. The movie that knocked it out of the #1 spot was Avatar, which is a much better movie IMO.

Say, Caro, what male actor (or female for that matter) do you get aroused by just by looking at him/her I mean... :confused1: :bigsmile100: :muchlove:

There are a lot of them. :bigsmile100: But Leonardo DiCaprio isn't on the list. "The Revenant" was a good movie for him, about a scruffy guy out in the wilderness not a heartthrob.

You, madam, are avoiding the question with that answer. Are you in politics by any chance? :bigsmile100:

There are so many eye candy actors out there that no particular name comes to mind. Sometimes I'll watch a movie just because Johnny Depp is in it, but they don't always pay off in the 'visual feast' department. I like to see him like this:

Not like this:

I thought this movie would be fun but the makeup was too overpowering.

Following the "guys in makeup" theme,

Prince: Yes. Purple Rain was a bad movie but a great music video. This is the opening to the movie so it's got some introductory story line going on with the music.

Boy George: No.

The guitarist from System of a Down: Oh my god no. The opening sequence of this video will make you want to gouge your eyes out. But there's a lovely guitar solo at the end, and he does a lot of it with his back to the camera so you don't have to look at him.

Kiss: Well, Gene Simmons certainly has an interesting look going. The others make me think of mimes gone wrong.

Thank you! I enjoyed looking at those pictures. Whenever you said "not like this" and put that second picture up...HAHAHA!

Also, who is Gene Simmons in that "mimes gone wrong" picture?
