well it depends on them sometimes they're far away from each other but other times really close to each other. They might play "dodgebball" but instead dodgewater and they try to dodge the sprays. hehe can't wait to see.. I try to take a picture of them after the mist.

It'll be interesting to see if they actually enjoy it the first time or if they turn it into a target-shooting match lol.

that'd be funny but don't want to stress them out or have to retame them again.

It's possible that they might not like it at all at first, but it's important for birds to learn to bathe because it's good for their skin and feather condition. And once they learn to like it they have a lot of fun with it. If you stand back from the cage as far as possible and try to act innocent, maybe they won't realize that the spray is coming from you.

Maybe a feather was slightly out of place on that wing so he shook it to get it back in place. It's not unusual to see a bird do something with just one wing.

oh okay, I finally got a spray bottle and sprayed them a bit they hopped around back and forth on the perches and their wings seemed like water-proof Kaylee just shook the water off while Sunshine was hopping back and forth.

Birds actually are kind of waterproof, and it takes a LOT of water to really get them wet. It's OK to get them really soaked if you want to, but it's not required. Just having drops of water beaded up on their bodies will help them get rid of dirt and dust, and help moisturize the skin and feathers.
Here's an odd fact about wild budgies. There's not a lot of standing water in the Outback, and lots of predators hanging around the available watering holes. So to get a drink safely, wild budgies will sometimes land IN the water and float on the surface with their wings spread out. I've seen a video of it. They don't stay in the water long enough to get soggy and sink, and the biggest danger is that if one budgie lands on top of another, the one on the bottom might drown.

It's not just the wildlife. I've always heard that "budgerigar" is an English corruption of an Aborigine word that means "a good bird to eat" or "very tasty". Not much meat on them though.
