Hello all, I'm Stephanie (Otherwise known as Lougirl) and I have migrated over from TalkCockatiels to expand my knowledge further on genetics and health care (To be precise).

Welcome to the group! From now on your posts will appear immediately without delay - the first one requires approval to help keep the spammers away. This board isn't nearly as active as TC but I can definitely dish out the genetics info and health care info too to some extent.

I'm currently reading Terry Martin's book "A Guide to Colour Mutations and Genetics in Parrots" so I might even be able to answer questions about other species besides parrots. For the first time ever I know what the dark factor in budgies and a few other species means - it's so exciting. I'm easily entertained lol.
