I've had a request for a 'Like' button for individual posts. My research on the subject indicates that it can be done, and that when I set it up I can edit the description to say anything I want, such as "Like", "Thanks", "Happy chirps" or whatever. Does anyone have a favorite?

Maybe we need one that says "Thanks", one that says "Like" and a third that says "I agree!"

I was wondering if it was possible to have a drop down menu instead of a button, so one can choose Like, Agree, Thanks, Useful or whatever, that would show some interesting stats.
Or maybe a Like button for the post and a drop down for the thread.
Sorry I always lose myself in this kind of statistic things, it might not be appropriate here, and overcomplicated for the poster/liker.

I don't think the function can actually do that many different things lol. It's designed to say just one thing, and we need to choose which one. It all pretty much boils down to "Nice post!" which is another option.

OK, that's the first vote for a single specific type of button. There's a little bit of ironic fun in it too because a certain other board doesn't have a thanks button any more lol.

I hate to be pushy (lie ) but... when will we have the Happy Chirps button? I already have a list of posts I will need to go back to click the button

I've been procrastinating because I'm afraid it's going to be a pain in the butt lol.

But I'll try to get to it tomorrow. For a while it looked like I'd be able to get to it today, but then I found another way to procrastinate.
