I am uploading a few new pics and a video, will post it ASAP.
He seems to be relaxing a bit, still wary of me though. He moves around in the cage but if I get up and walk around he's fast back on the highest perch.
The cage doors are all open, he climbed to the open top, sat on there for a couple of minutes and got back inside
I hope he will soon be able to move a bit more, he must be bored to death!

I think he's too damaged right now to even think of training. I'll consider myself lucky if I can manage to get him in and out of the cage without being bitten, maybe with time he'll get more friendly but I am not holding my breath lol
The tiels are more than happy to socialise with me, I am lucky in that respect, so I don't feel the need to be closer to him than he's happy to allow. It would be a dream if he decided to be friendly, of course!

He is getting better, Jan, but he's very wary of humans.
This morning I was looking at him intensely, looking at his feathers, and he started growling... I guess he doesn't like to be stared at

He is not a fan of the tiels, at all. They try to get into his cage because it's full of food and he is not happy about it. When he feels active he will slowly follow them around and chase them away.

At this stage I am not worried because he's extremely slow so he wouldn't be able to catch them even if he tried, but I don't trust him around them one little bit! He is in a different room and will never be in the flock room.



Right now he is on the top of the open cage, having a nap, and I am thinking of giving him a little spray shower. I am sure he will hate it!
