My name is Elizabeth. I'm 36½ (turning 37 in less than a month) and reside in Northeastern IL. I work full-time in the healthcare industry as a support assistant, i.e. receptionist, in an optometrist's office. I've been in healthcare for well over 8 years and have worked in a variety of settings including lab environments as a specimen technician dealing with blood and urine. I got my start in a college health center.

I have 2 cockatiels, Riley, a 5-year-old pied tiel, and Bailey, a 3-year-old pearl tiel. I also have a 7-year-old classic tri-color papillon named Gizmo and a turquoise male Crown Tail betta named Victor who calls a 5-gallon tank home. (I've been keeping betta since high school.)

My papillon was adopted from PapAdopters 2 months ago and has been slowly learning to co-exist with my tiels.
