Well you said he could talk, right? That's what I consider vocal. Unless if he doesn't do it often?
Or were you trying to ask about Lucy, and got mixed up (I do that All the time)? Because while Lucy is quiet for the most part, she does have times where she'll break into a series of multi-note chirps. I like to call it "chattering", because there's absolutely no pattern to it, and it sounds like she's trying to talk. Sometimes I'll answer her, saying: "yeah?" "Oh really?" "Is that so?" "You don't say." "Are you sure?" She seems to like it when I do, since it feels like she's having a conversation. Of course, I can't be in the same room as she does it. Heaven forbid that the conversation be face to face!
